Dave started his career as a general technician at Poole Arts Centre for three years, before moving into working on touring & West End productions.

 

He has worked alongside artists such as Diana Ross, Demis Roussos, Petula Clark & Dennis Locorriere.

 

He spent many years developing productions in London’s West End including: The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas, Dancing in the Streets & Thriller Live. Touring has formed a large part of Dave’s career and he has worked on numerous productions such as: The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas (UK, Europe & America), Thriller Live (UK, Europe & Asia), Dancing in the Streets (UK & Europe).  

 

Other UK touring credits include: Magic of the Musicals, A Night at the Opera with Jonathan Ansell, Vampires Rock, The Meatloaf Story, Marty Wilde, Guitar Heroes, Maximum Rhythm & Blues.

 

He has worked on Corporate Events for Royal Bank of Scotland, Astrazeneca, Stowe Landscape Gardens & London Olympics 2012.

 

Across his career he has worked for companies including: PRG UK & Europe, LXCO, DLD Lighting, Flying Music Ltd, Michael Rose Ltd, GSL Events, Seventh Wave Audio, OT Event Technicians & Production Bureau.

 

Dave is in high demand on the Amateur Musical Theatre circuit and has designed lighting for groups such as Weymouth Operatic Workshop (WOW), Weymouth Musical Theatre, Bournemouth & Boscombe Light Opera Company, St Albans Musical Theatre Company, Frome Musical Theatre Company, Bridport Amateur Musical Theatre Company, Axminster Amateur Musical Theatre Company & Lyme Regis Amateur Musical Theatre Company.

 

He spent 7 years as Technical Manager at Weymouth Pavilion, which is where he started working with Lee and Made to Measure Productions - he has designed the lighting and production managed the majority of the company’s shows since 2013 and is looking forward to another P*ssed Up Panto - and that’s just in his Travelodge room after the show...!
